About The West Coast Chapter
- The ADSC West Coast Chapter (WCC) is a non-profit corporation.
Its purposes and objectives are:
- To protect, promote, foster, and advance the interest of persons, firms,
or corporations engaged in the business of drilled shaft and/or anchored
earth retention construction for buildings, homes, bridges, or other
structures or improvements.
- To encourage drilled shaft and/or anchored earth retention construction,
and to improve the conditions under which the industry operates.
- To foster ethical business practices.
- To perfect machinery for the peaceful settlement of disputes between
members, or between them and their employees or customers.
- To study ways and means to protect the industry against unfair and
unjust burdens and exactions.
- To collect and disseminate scientific and industrial data to the industry.
- To promote a better understanding and more friendly relations between
members and their employees.
- To promote good understanding and mutually beneficial relations between
members and their employees.
- The operation of the Association shall be for the mutual benefit of
all the members of the Association, and any excess funds which the Association
shall acquire by gift, devise, or membership dues shall be used to the
general purposes of the Association at the discretion of the Board of
Directors for educational purposes, grants, gifts, or endowments to educational
institutions or the furthering of the scientific development of the industry.
- This Corporation shall be non-political and non-profit.
This organization shall be, and is, incorporated as a non-profit corporation
under the laws of the State of California.
- This Association and its members recognize the vital
importance of vigorous competition between members of this Association,
as well as between everyone In the industry, whether members of this Association
or not, and this Association and its members shall not engage in any activities
prohibited by law, either Federal or State, and in any way restrict or
impair the sound and healthy competition between competitors required by
our Anti-Trust Laws which are so necessary for the preservation of the
free enterprise system that benefits the society of which we are all a
part.
